How to Use the Auto Unique ID Feature
Step 1: Add the Field
Open the Formester form builder and select the “Auto Unique ID” field from the elements menu.
Step 2: Customize Your ID
Add a prefix for context. Can also use @ to recall answers from previous questions (e.g., “ORD” for orders or “REG” for registrations).
Set the total number of digits for the ID (e.g., 5 digits for IDs like REG-00001).
Choose the initial count to decide the starting index (e.g., 1, 100, or any number you want).
Step 3: Save and Publish
