How to Create Fillable PDFs?

Enable the Feature

Go to Settings in the Formester dashboard.
Navigate to Advanced Settings and toggle on Connect Form to PDF.
Click Save Settings to apply changes.
After enabling, the PDF Editor tab will appear in the builder.

Create & Upload a PDF Template

Design a generic PDF template using any tool.
In Formester, go to the PDF Editor tab and click Upload PDF.
This will store the PDF inside Formester for customization.

Customize the Template & Save

Add form fields to the blank spaces in the PDF.
Click on any field to edit properties like font size, color, and style.
Use the @ sign to link fields with form responses.
Click Save Template.

Download the Custom PDF

Go to the Results tab after a submission.
Click the three dots next to the response.
Select Download PDF.
The PDF will include the user’s answers, replacing the default template.

Now, every time someone submits a form, their responses will be placed into your custom PDF instead of Formester’s default format!
