STEP 1
Open the AI form builder
Start by creating your form with Formester’s AI form builder. Once your form is ready, open it in the builder to start styling.
STEP 2
Navigate to the design tab
Click on the Design tab at the top of the builder. This is where all styling options, including custom CSS, are located.
STEP 3
Access custom CSS
Scroll down to the Custom CSS section and click the CSS Selector Mode icon. This mode lets you target specific elements or the entire form for styling.
STEP 4
Select what to style
Full Form Container: Hover over the form to edit CSS that applies to the whole form.
Individual Elements: Hover over a specific field, title, button, or section to see two options:
Add Class Selector: Styles all elements of that type in your form.
Add Individual Selector: Styles only that specific element.
STEP 5
Edit with the script editor
Once your element is selected, open the script editor. Here you can call existing CSS functions or write your own to update colors, fonts, spacing, animations, and other styling.
STEP 6
Preview and publish
Check your form in preview mode to make sure styles look perfect on desktop and mobile. When satisfied, save and publish your form to go live.
